Jason Geist & Family Cancer Fund

Hello, my name is Jackie, and I set up this account for one of my best friends’ husband, Jason, who has recently received a life-changing diagnosis.
 
Jason, the sole provider for his family of 5, has recently been diagnosed with Advanced Pancreatic Cancer that has metastized to his liver.  Jason will soon begin chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking the tumors on his pancreas and liver, as well as hopefully preventing the spread of the disease and farther. Surgery is being considered in approximately  6 months to remove the tumors, as long as chemotherapy is effective.
Due to the circumstances of his diagnosis, Jason will be unable to work, and will also be losing health insurance. Jason’s wife of nearly 11 years, Melissa, is  a-stay-at-home mom, caring for their three young children- Riley 10, Raine 7, and Raelynn 2, will need to be by his side during treatments, as well as continuing to care for their children, and provide as much emotional support for them as needed. 
The next six months (or more) are going to be extremely difficult for their family emotionally and financially.
