Please Help Jason Farrar Keep His Home
Donation protected
Whoever you are — thank you for supporting this GoFundMe for Jason Farrar. He is in a desperate position.
After a few days of issues with bank accounts and ID verification, we are up and running again, using my bank account as the transfer account. After the funds are processed and deposited to that account, I transfer them to Jason’s bank account. His story, in his words, is below.
Jason is facing eviction and a tribunal with the Landlord and Tenant Board on March 10 — one week from today, as I write this. We were in a terrible time crunch at the start, and then we lost a few more days due to banking issues. I don't think I can overstate how dire the situation is.
With Toronto’s rental market being what it is, this is not merely about keeping Jason in the home he has lived in for decades. Relocating isn’t an option. And so we’re asking for help of any sort. Donations, of course, to help Jason pay his arrears, but also resources he might access and suggestions for getting through a Landlord and Tenant Board Tribunal.
If you have any words of encouragement for Jason or any suggestions to help him secure his home, please send him https://www.facebook.com/jasonfarrarmusic/) or me (https://www.facebook.com/doggabone/) a message on Facebook.

Dear friends, please help me. I'm in terrible trouble. I'm facing eviction and will be homeless.
I've avoided going this route due to my stupid pride, but now I'm desperate.
I have been working but have only been able to find part-time work for the last 9 months. I could really only keep the Internet and the lights on. I have no family to lean on, and I'm not eligible for benefits. Because of that, I fell behind in the rent. It's now to the point where I have to face a tribunal on March 10.
I have been working and looking for better work, but it's impossible to catch up in time. I wish there were other options. I am also selling some of my musical equipment.
Please help me keep my home.
