As many of you know Jason DiMatteo is in the ICU unit at Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA.  Jason has had numerous complications from an infection in his liver.  He has already undergone two surgeries and he is expected to have yet another on Tuesday.  As of today, they have placed Jason in a medically induced coma to help his body fight and to ease him of his pain. He is expected to be at Sacred Heart at least the next several weeks.

Jason is a hard-working family man that lives in Missoula, Montana with his wife Liz and their 5 young boys.  Their family is a fixture in the Missoula community and is deeply rooted in the hockey community.   Anybody that has met Jason will tell you about his devotion to his family, work and hockey.
