Jason Cox's Road to Recovery

This morning, Sunday, November 22, 2020, Jason and Rory were doing what they love and junkin' cars. While loading a truck onto the trailer, the bucket of the tractor fell. Jason was quick to move, but in the process of trying to dodge the falling bucket he fell onto the trailer. No one is sure if the bucket fell on him at this point as it all happened so fast and was a scary moment to say the least. Jason then ended up on the ground and immediately knew his hip was done.
After laying on the ground for several minutes trying to decide if Rory and him could manage getting him into a vehicle and to the hospital, Jason assured us all that it wasn't happening (in much few words consisting mostly of the four letter kind). The phone call was made and both Linden and Dodgeville EMS we paged and responded to the location.
Jason was transported by ambulance to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville where further evaluation was done. Jason has a broken pelvic bone and doctors are still not certain about his hip bone. Knowing Jason was going to need surgery and Upland Hills not being equipped for this, Jason was transported by abulance yet again, this time to St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
Jason is in good spirits, but appears to be a bit "hangry" as they aren't letting him eat or drink anything at this point. He says doctors are thinking surgery wont be until Wednesday and following this Jason will be on crutches and not allowed to bear any weight for 3 months, with healing time after that as well.
Knowing Jason and his willingness to help out anyone in need, we feel that it's our time to do what we can. The hospital did allow Jason to have a delivery from Hy-Vee this afternoon so if you are thinking of sending him a little pick-me-up, you should be in the clear. However, this accident today is going to last for sometime and rack up quite the expense. Jason will be out of work (or at least his normal roll doing fab work) for quite a while and will have several medical expenses.
We have a goal of $7,000 but I have good faith we can exceed this goal. Jason definitely had someone watching over him today and now he needs all of us to have his back! So please from the bottom of my heart, please do what you can. We understand 2020 has been hard, but honestly every penny gets us that much closer to our goal!
