Jason Cornick Funeral & Education fund for Emma
Donation protected
Thank you so much for your kind messages, thoughts, and donations. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and touched to see how quickly the goal was achieved. Although the target has been met, I will leave the page open for donations to help build an education fund for Emma.
My dear younger brother passed away on July 15th, leaving his wife and five-year-old daughter to mourn. The past months have been extremely difficult, and the road ahead will be challenging. I have set up this page to help them with funeral expenses and transition to their life without him. Any money raised will help cover funeral costs and a celebration of his life. If any money remains, it will go into an education fund for his daughter Emma. Anything you can do to help will be deeply appreciated.
Cornick, Jason Robert – 1973-2022
It is with immense sadness that the family of Jason Cornick announce his passing on July 15th, 2022, at the age of 49. He is predeceased by his father Robert, grandparents Jack and Glenis Lidstone, father-in-law Frank Hussey, and “Aunt” Gloria Learning. Leaving to mourn are his wife Connie Cornick, his daughter Emma, his mother Gail Lidstone, his sister Shelley (Paul), niece Allia and nephew Devin, mother-in-law Maple Hussey, the Learning family (Ed, Peter, Wanda, and Maria), and a vast circle of in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
Jason was passionate about everything he did. He fiercely loved his family and would do anything for his friends. His favourite place was fixing things in the garage; everyone knew they could always find him there for a chat. He loved poetry, painting, and music, but most of all, he loved motorcycles. And he always picked out the best movies (according to his daughter). He is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Our hearts are broken.
