Jason Coopers Recovery Fund

Alright guys, as most of you have learned Jason was involved in a crash at GNCC Run is Union on Sunday in Lauren's SC. He was flown to Spartanburg Regional medical center with a severe spinal cord injury and is going to require significantly more care that insurance is going to cover. Severe life changing injuries. He is paralyzed from the chest down. He had surgery upon arrival to fix T4 vertibrae and to relieve pressure on spinal cord in C3 through C8 region of his spine. Myself and his son are staying at an airbnb nearby to be able to remain by his side. He had surgery this morning for tracheotomy and PEG (feeding tube). The next few days they will try to get his breathing under control so they can remove the ventilator. There is a wonderful spinal cord injury rehab in Atlanta that he will be going to for a minimum of 6 months to a year. In that time will be moving there so we can remain by his side while making our home in Columbia Sc accessible to his needs.

For those of yall that know him, he is one heck of a man! Most people know him by Cooper! He is so very hardworking man and wonderful husband, father and grandfather! He has been involved in the motorcycle industry and motocross world since the 1980's. Most people know him from being service manager at Carolina Honda. He is also known to be a part of Fogle Elecric family for quite a few years now! He is well loved and anybody that knows him will tell you that! However you know him, you probably connected with him quickly like many of us have. He has incredible energy and positivity, and is a vibrant ball of liveliness and entertainment.

With that being said, this treatment will be his only chance to possible overcome this injury. We hope it will give him any chance to get to a point of real independence. It is too early to tell what the future holds. We are praying and hoping for the best! Everything from both of us missing work, to medical bills, transportation costs, therapy cost and changes to our home to be made accessible is really getting expensive. We want to support Cooper with one thing not to worry about through all of these changes and trials. PLEASE SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!
