Jason Cook's Battle against Bile Duct Cancer
Donation protected
Jason was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) in September. This is an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer and even more rare to see in someone so young. Jason has a huge fight ahead of him. His focus is on his kids and being here for them.
Jason and Sue are now 100% focused on his medical care and caring for their kids as they navigate this diagnosis. University of Penn has become their second home, which involves many trips to Philadelphia for his treatment. The treatment schedule means many days of missed work for both of them and unplanned expenses that are not covered by insurance.
We have always called Jason "the mayor" because wherever he goes he knows someone or makes a new friend. So it's no wonder so many people are reaching out asking what they can do. First, they need your prayers and good thoughts sent their way! In addition, we have established this GoFundMe to support the Cook family. Please consider donating to help ease the burden of the unplanned medical expenses.
Jason needs to know he has an army behind him to fight this fight with him. Thank you for your support!
