Jason Carson was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to everyone he met. He gave maximum effort to the spirit program at Sam Houston State University. Jason performed as Sammy the Bearkat as well as being a member of the Homecoming Court, announcing for the band at the Bearkat football games, and playing on the Deuce Ultimate Frisbee team.


We are raising funds for a memorial bench to be put on campus. It will be nice place of comfort and reflection for the school spirit that Jason showed everyday. Our minimum goal is $7000 but any extra funds will be given to counseling centers in the Huntsville area in Jason’s name.
