Jason Burgess Family
Donation protected
We have set up this Go Fund Me page for the Jason and Jennifer Burgess family.
Family:
Jason – 41 years young, self-employed in the landscape industry, a committed dad, coach and board member in Jefferson County for the last 21 years
Jennifer – Football mom, softball mom – all around great mom. Caregiver to Jason (for now :0)) and super employee at CCD Interiors.
Brooklyn – 13 years old, an exceptional student at St. Anne’s Catholic School and an avid softball player with the Colorado Stars.
Tyler – 22 years old, an exceptional student at Chadron State College and a red shirt Senior on the Chadron State football team
Medical:
Jason has been a Type 2 diabetic for the past 20 years. He has been on dialysis for the past few months with minimal success.
Jennifer has finally qualified to donate her kidney to Jason. The surgery is scheduled for early July.
Football Community:
Green Mountain Football – Jason coached for 8 years
Arvada Youth Football – Jason coached for 8 years
Arvada West – Jason coached for 6 years
AYFA – Jason continues to serve as a Board Member (6+ years)
JMFA – Jennifer was a Board Member for 8 years
As you can see, Jason and Jennifer have selflessly contributed to our children and our community with all of their passion and optimism over many years. They have given way more than these various communities can ever repay them. They have provided their time, money and effort to those around them without asking for anything in return. It should be noted, the Burgess family has not asked for this help. We feel it’s the least we can do for a family whose efforts have ensured that many of the youth in our communities have been able to follow their own dreams. It’s important that we help those who have helped so many others
Now it’s our turn to help the Burgess family!
So many of you have asked “How can I help?” First of all, thanks for asking! This situation has created loss of income, medical bills and a total disruption to their lives with dialysis, hospital and doctor visits, and countless changes to their everyday routines. A small donation from each of us will help to relieve some of the financial strain and worry for this wonderful family.
Assuming Jason’s body accepts Jennifer’s kidney, the Burgess family will soon be back, stronger than ever!
Thanks in advance for your help!!
