Hi folks,
Some of you may or may not know that at present Jason is incapacitated due to having 2 prolapsed spinal discs. He has been in this state since early-mid April.
Upon tests and scans at the hospital he was given the diagnosis of the two ruptured discs and he knew this would require surgery as he has had this operation many years ago.
So was sent home with a sports direct bag of pain killers and told to recoup.
We now fast forward 2 weeks, still in same pain, still no better,he gets the news from consultant that due to backlog within the NHS his operation waiting time will be "66 Weeks"!!!!!!
He can't work, his money reduced significantly, wife and two kids to support, growing bills to pay and worry if his job will still be there nearly a year and a half down the line.
The only other option was to look at going private and seeing how much firstly and how sooner it could be done.
As it seems can be done in approx 8 weeks at a cost of around £10,000. Plus extra costs everytime he needs to see consultant.
This event wasn't planned for and the costs for this aswell as living costs on a reduced wage are near as damp it impossible.
So as a good pal and if you've read this far down I can only assume you hold him fond in your hearts (he's like the jfk assassination, you always remember where you were when you first met Bert) I feel its the right thing to try and help in anyway we can.
Thanks all and God bless
