Hi, my name is Marge and I'm fundraising for Jason Baptiste, a young man who was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma (also called GBM, glioblastoma multiforme), an aggressive type of brain cancer. At his current age of 48, he is in the fight for his life.
Jason is a gifted electrician and a hard worker, and he takes life seriously. Jason worked his way up to being an electrician the hard way, but always had time to do work for little- or no-charge to many of his friends and family at their convenience. Jason is very proud of his vocation, and loves to work.
Unfortunately, because of his diagnosis, he has been unable to work for a number of weeks and it is not likely that he will be able to return to work any time soon.
Jason has a deep love of family--as a man who never got to know his own father until just before HE died, he treasures the time he gets to spend with his son. He also loves his Mother deeply, and his fiance and her family as well. Once committed, he is a passionate man who totally loves the family experience.
Jason loves boating, and once bought a huge cabin cruiser for $1 and lived on it for years, until he could afford to buy a home for his family to move into. It was a memorable experience for him, and showed that he was adventurous and willing to do what needs to be done to get ahead.
Jason has begun his treatments and needs financial help for medical bills that are not being paid by his current insurance, and also to help him with life's bills (utilities, food, etc.) that needs to be paid so that he can continue through the long treatment cycle that he is committed to.
Please donate what you can comfortably do--and share this link with friends, associates--so that Jason can focus on his treatments only and not worry about life's everyday necessities.
Thank you, and bless you.
