Jason Austin Direct Care Fund
Donation protected
Hello! Jason has been battling MS for years and recently was hospitalized due to contracting a virus. The MS greatly exacerbated the effects of the virus, hence his hospitalization. He was released from the hospital into a nursing home that did not meet his needs, and has since been recuperating at home. This fund will help pay for care givers to come into his home and take care of him (especially at night) to bridge the gap until we can arrange for him to be placed in a more appropriate environment where he can get the care he needs. He requires constant care and his group of friends cannot meet his current needs.
My name is Larry Strub, and I have been friends with Jason since 1986 when Ed Hall was playing Noise Fest in Waterloo Park and some dumb skinhead punched him in the mouth, mangling his braces. He went on to become one of the premier poster artists in Austin and the USA and was part of the Ed Hall crew when we went on tour in the U.S. and Europe.
All money will be deposited into the account of Jason's lovely mother, Donna O'Klock, who has power of attorney over Jason's affairs and is supervising his health care recovery. Thanks!
