Hey everybody. I really don't want to do this but Jay and I are in a desperate situation right now. In March of 2015 Jason suffered a series of heart attacks which led to the doctors putting in a stent in his left anterior descending artery. When Jason came home, things changed. He was no longer able to work. Our living situation at the time was not healthy for either us or our cats. Neighbohood kids killed 7 of our otdoor cats during the next 12 months, culminating in one of our babies being skinned alive and left on our porch. We were forced to move quickly and ended up in a complicated situation. 
My boss at the time had a rental house in need of a tenant. We jumped on the opportunity. It was honestly a painful stretch on our budget and has proven to be one of the disasters that has brought me to this. 
Two and a half months ago my car died. As we have been living litteraly paycheck to paycheck, the process of purchasing another vehicle, getting it running, having to walk to and from stores and getting rides to and from work from my bosses; we have been unable to pay rent. 
Last week I was let go from my job and told I need to get out of their house asap. I have been applying for jobs everywhere since then to no avail. 
Saturday evening our oldest cat Thor suddenly lost the use of his back legs. We found out he had cancer and had to put him to sleep Monday morning.
This was the final piece that broke Jason. He is in the hospital right now.
Basically, I am trying to gather enough money to move our stuff and our remaining kitties to a new place as soon as possible. There are a couple little inexpensive places nearby that would serve our needs, but I have no money. I'm trying to sell a lot of our stuff online, but that's not going so well.
