Jason & Jennifer's Journey
Donation protected
Medical problems started in April 2018, and Jason spent so much time at appointments, he hasn't been able to work since then. In the Summer 2018, Jason was diagnosed with tongue cancer that progressed to his lymph nodes and has turned into a very aggressive cancer that has spread throughout his body. The inability to work has created financial difficulties for the entire family and CPP has not paid a dime in unemployment or disability. Due to the nature and location of the cancer, the family has had to pay for Jason's medically required tube-feeding supplies on Jen's single income on top of fuel costs and travel expenses to get to appointments in Regina.
Jennifer and Jason share a 10 year old son, and each have an older child. Jason has recently been told that he has 8-10 weeks to live and Jen's income has been affected by all the time she has spent caretaking. The couple will be exchanging vows this Valentine's Day due to the children's wishes.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
