It’s with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that Amanda, Jason, and their son Gage lost their brand-new home and everything they owned in a tragic house fire. The fire also claimed the lives of the grandparents’ beloved animals, adding even more heartbreak to an already unimaginable loss. We are so grateful that everyone made it out safely, but the emotional and financial toll of losing everything is something no family should have to face alone.
This home wasn’t just a house to them — it was their dream. They had just purchased it and were in the middle of remodeling, pouring all their time, energy, and love into turning it into a place their family could make memories in for years to come. Every wall they painted, every project they started, every detail they planned was a piece of their hearts invested into building a future together. They had just finished moving all of their belongings in — only to have it all gone in an instant.
In the span of a few moments, they lost not only their home, but also their clothes, furniture, family photos, keepsakes, and all the small, irreplaceable things that made that house a home. It’s a devastating situation that no one could prepare for, and they are now starting completely from scratch.
We are reaching out to our family, friends, and community to surround them with love, encouragement, and support as they begin the long road to rebuilding. Any help — whether it’s through financial donations, gift cards, clothing, supplies, or simply sharing this post — will make an incredible difference as they work to piece their lives back together.
Amanda and Jason have always been the type of people to give their hearts to others — hardworking, caring, and always willing to lend a hand when someone needs it. Now, it’s our turn to show them that they are not alone. Together, we can help lift them up, ease some of the heavy burdens they’re facing, and remind them that even in times of loss, love and community can rebuild what was lost.
Please keep Amanda, Jason, Gage, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, helps more than words can express.
