Jasna Miskovic-East is an amazing wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, chef and cherished friend to many. She has spent her life taking care of others in any way that she could; whether it was feeding them, hugging them, praying for them or giving them whatever financial assistance she was able to when someone was in need. She has survived war, famine and so many unpredictable life moments with strength and grace and continues to do so.
For all of you who know Jasna, you know that she is bravely battling a very invasive and aggressive disease. She has spent the last two years in and out of the hospital for surgeries and chemotherapy and was showing progress until a few short months ago. Unfortunately, she has recently taken a turn and was placed in hospice care yesterday. We are hoping and praying for her and are asking for you to do the same.
As they work through whatever time they have left with Jasna, her family faces some unfortunate obstacles. This disease has come at a great expense to all, and they are not through the hardest part. While Jasna has a burial site already established, no one was expecting to make final preparations this early in her life, and they are working through how to provide her with the care and comfort needed while preparing for the future.
If Jasna has touched your life in any way, I would ask that you say a prayer for her to be at peace in whatever way God has in mind for her at this time. If you are able to make a donation, that would also be greatly appreciated and would go toward providing Jasna with support as she battles through this stage in her life and any costs associated with services in the future.
