For Jasmynne & Jackson

Derek is the one who made me an uncle. He has always been the sweetest boy. Even at 26 he would never leave without giving me a hug and saying he loved me. His caring nature went beyond words and anyone that knew him, felt it. The amount of people who cared for him back confirms how special he was.

Derek started a family of his own and everyone close to him was so happy he was settling into the life we would want for him. Unexpectedly fate cut that life far too short. They always say that losing a child is a parents worst nightmare. My brother and Derek’s mother now have to live through that reality.

Derek leaves us all behind, but the 2 people that will be affected most are his devoted girlfriend, Jasmynne and beautiful 2 year old son, Jackson. Jackson is the spitting image of Derek and is the legacy he leaves behind. I am starting this collection to help as much as possible while they get through the shock and emotions that come from such a tragic accident, as well as the financial implications.
