On 15th August, I will be taking on a charity skydive to raise money for kidney research, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. Having lived through my own journey with kidney failure, I know first-hand the impact that kidney disease can have on every aspect of life and how vital research is in improving treatments, outcomes, and ultimately finding better solutions for those affected.

This cause is also deeply personal because of my best friend, Lucy, who is living with the reality that she may never have the opportunity to receive another transplant. Her experience is a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by thousands of people living with kidney disease and the devastating shortage of donor organs.
