In Loving Memory of an Energetic 8-Year-Old Taken Too Soon

Our hearts are heavy as we come together to support a young, single mother, Bi Doan and her family during an unimaginable time of loss. The sudden and tragic passing of her 8-year-old daughter Jasmine on the 4th of July from a fireworks accident in Buena Park has left a void that words cannot fill. As she navigates the grief of losing her child, we want her to know she is not alone. We are all sending her love, compassion, and the hope that our collective support can help ease the burden.
This fundraiser is a way for us to extend our hands and hearts to help her through this unfortunate time.
Still reeling from the sudden loss of her father just four months ago, Bi now bears the heavy responsibility of caring for her elderly mother and her only child left—a 7- year-old daughter—while struggling to hold her fractured family together.
Jasmine may be gone far too soon, but the impact she made in those few short years is eternal. She had a heart as big as her smile—one that noticed when someone was sad and made sure no one ever felt left out. In her eight years, Jasmine showed us what it truly means to live in the moment, to love without reservation, and to find magic in the small things.
