Jasmine’s Journey to Healing
Donation protected
“Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine Earnest! I am 25 years old and wanted to share my story on how my life, hopes and dreams drastically changed.
On April 12, 2022 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I was airlifted to Albany Medical Center that day with life threatening injuries. Upon my arrival at Albany Med, I endured a 16-hour surgery during which my heart stopped and I needed to be resuscitated. I was hospitalized from April 12th, 2022 until September 22nd, 2022, most of which was in the intensive care unit. I endured over 100 plus surgeries, some of which were required to save my life and some, in attempt to reconstruct my body. Some of these surgeries included, complete reconstruction of my reproductive region, most of my internal organs, and both wrists. In addition, I endured several surgeries to amputate portions of my leg in attempt to save some of it which, eventually, resulted in a full amputation. I recently found out I have to undergo another pelvic surgery-this time to remove my entire left pelvic bone.”
As Jasmine’s story shows, she has gone through numerous extensive medical procedures, continuing rehabilitation, and physical and emotional therapy. As you can imagine, this ongoing battle has caused and will continue to cause financial hardship. Not only the accumulating medical expenses, but Jasmine is unable to work and is uncertain of what her future will hold, both personally and professionally.
We are reaching out to the community to help Jasmine raise funds for her mounting medical debt, day to day living expenses, and ongoing medical procedures.
On behalf of Jasmine, her family, and her friends, we want to thank you for your prayers, support, and financial donations.
