Therefore I’m was not able to get a student visa for this academic year. Because everything happened so fast, losing my job, moving out of my apartment, I have decided to wait and re-apply next year. Hello, Many of you have heard the saying when one door closes another one opens. That just happened to me. I was laid off from my job and then the next week I was accepted into a college in the Netherlands to pursue a master's degree in international communication this fall. All this happened so fast that I do not have enough money saved up.

I was awarded a $10,000 merit scholarship that covers some of my rent, but not tuition, living expenses, or the apartment security deposit. In order for me to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I need to raise the needed money.

Most immediately, I will need to finalize housing by the 31st of July. The housing application fee and the first and last month's rent is $2,100. I need this amount by the end of July. I currently only have $500 towards this. The cost of the tuition is $8,100 to be paid by August 1, and the cost of books will be $1,000 The goal is to raise $10,700.
