On Thursday, January 26, 2023, Jasmine was waiting at an intersection when her car was hit by a truck. The impact resulted in a 6-car pileup with hers being the worst. She survived severe front and rear end damage but was able to kick her door open and escape the car as it was smoking. Luckily a good samaritan comforted her until her parents and first responders were able to arrive.
Being a single mother of three, with her own pre-existing health concerns this is the last thing she needed, or deserved. She is working to provide the best possible life for her children and works extremely hard as a medical assistant. The car was a total loss, Florida is a no-fault state so the truck driver is not liable to pay for Jasmine’s car, and insurance is not covering the damage.
She does everything to provide for her children. Aubrielle, Evan, and Noah are wonderful kids with the kindest, most humble, hardworking, God-fearing mother. They always count their blessings, despite a long list of misfortunes.
Jasmine recently went back to school at Lake-Sumter State College to become a registered nurse. She attends church at Kingdom Culture Church. She needs a vehicle desperately in order to maintain her schooling, work, and to get her children to and from school and church.
This GoFundMe is an effort to bless her with a new vehicle, which she surely can’t afford on her own, given her life’s circumstances. Even if you don’t have much to offer, every penny counts. Consider skipping the Starbucks and instead donate that money towards Jasmine’s GoFundMe. We don’t assume the limits of anyone’s financial situation or generosity, but if you know anyone with a vehicle they can spare, sharing her story with them would be amazing. Thank you for your consideration. God bless you all.
