My niece Jasmine had a devastating apartment fire last night. Thankfully, she and the children are ok. However, this fire is leaving her and two young children displaced. The apartment is almost a total loss; all furniture has excessive smoke and soot damage, as well as some fire damage. Some clothes may be salvageable once washed, but the building is currently boarded up, and it's unknown when access may be granted. Unfortunately, she did not have renter's insurance and will have to rebuild from scratch. Every little bit helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
