***Update from the Campa Family****
One year has passed, and we are still waiting for our building permit.
Despite having a great team helping us, the process is taking much longer than expected.
Because of this delay, rebuilding our home will take more time, and we will likely need to stay in our rental longer than planned. We are still short of our goal and will soon be responsible for both rent and our mortgage, as our insurance funds are expected to run out later this year.
This has been an incredibly challenging year, and we still have a long road ahead. Any donation helps, and we would be so grateful if you would also share our story. Thank you for your support.

*Update: A Call for Continued Support**
Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you who has supported us during this incredibly difficult time after losing our home in the Eaton Fire. Your generosity and love have meant the world to us, and we are beyond thankful for the outpouring of support.
As we continue this long, challenging journey, we are learning more about the true cost of everything we need and unfortunately, it's higher than we initially anticipated. With this in mind, we are updating our fundraising goal to ensure we have enough funds to get us through this process without going into serious debt. We now have more info on what insurance covers and what we will have to contribute.
We are also concerned about the timeline. This process depends on so many things such as preparing the land, getting power lines repaired in the area and having access to the area which is limited at times. Our insurance coverage for rent on the apartment we're currently staying in is limited, and we’re unsure if we’ll be able to have our home ready before that coverage runs out. We hope to avoid further financial strain during this already stressful time, and this is where your continued support could make a huge difference.
