Hello, everybody.

My name is Teanna McCuaig, and I created this GoFundMe to try and help out my little sister, Jasmin.

Why I'm fundraising

Jasmin is currently a full-time student at Grand Valley State University, and lives with her boyfriend, Caden, near campus. Unfortunately, they were hit with a tragedy the morning after Christmas. She came home to find her dryer caught on fire. The fire quickly spread through their home. The fire department was able to put the fire out, but most of the damage was already done. Luckily, they were able to make it out safely (so did the kitty!). They lost basically everything due to the fire itself, plus smoke and water damage.

They were able to move Jasmin and Caden into a different apartment for now, however, that apartment is empty.

The impact of your support

Jasmin and Caden lost pretty much everything that they own. The donations will be used to help them refurnish the other apartment, put food on the table, clothes on their backs, and replace some of their important belongings, like electronics (so they can continue to do their school work). We are looking to help them get a start on a new place since they are starting back at 0.

We understand that this time of the year can be tough, but if you are able to donate anything, we will be forever grateful! Your thoughts and prayers will also be very appreciated.
