Good day. I come to everyone to ask for support due to this really unfortunate situation.

This GoFundMe is for my son, Jashaun. He has been working really hard, working two jobs, trying to save for his first vehicle. We only have one vehicle we both use.

We decided to sell his quad so we could add to the savings for his car.

We had an offer that ended up being a huge scam. The man offered us extra money to deliver the ATV to his home in Temple Hills, MD. We took the quad to the address he gave us. He was standing outside waiting for us. The house ended up not even being his. It was a perfectly planned set up. He was paying cash (one of many mistakes). As he was checking out the ATV, he wanted to test it out. So he set the money on the back of the truck. As he was testing the ATV, we tested the money to make sure it was real. It ended up being fake money, and by the time we came to this conclusion, he had already taken off with the ATV, nowhere to be found. We were scammed by total scum masters. He also had an accomplice that acted like he was a neighbor. These scumbags are pros. He was even texting me as he was stealing the ATV. Of course, on a burner number, which we now know. Men in their 50s just stole from a hardworking 17-year-old.

A police report was put in, and it's in the system as stolen. They said it's highly unlikely we'll ever see it again.

While we're blessed to be alive, it's the entire principle that this even occurred. We fell for it, giving people the benefit of the doubt.

We're just asking everyone if they would like to donate to a 17-year-old that was just taken advantage of in a very horrible way. No one deserves to have their property stolen. It was hard to let go of, and now we don't even have anything to show for it but a police report number.
