UPDATE-
Jase is currently in remission from cancer, Thank the lord!
But is currently fighting a new set back. He is in ICU at Wolfson children hospital but he is surrounded by a fantastic team. We are asking for prayers as we navigate this very unexpected turn. We will share more information and details once we have more solid information. As things are still rapidly evolving. Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
This is Jase my 11-year-old cousin. This kid is one of the funniest silliest little people I know! He can make a whole room burst out in laughter without not even trying. He’s such a bright adventurous kid and even sweet when he wants to be. He loves playing sports and of course fortnite. This kid can’t live without his social life, like I’m jealous how many friends this kid has. He is just an amazing little butthead. He also has a very sassy little sister Lacey. Being raised by their amazing single mom Brooke. She really is amazing what she has been able to accomplish on her own.
But on December 1st their lives were turned completely upside down. With the news of this healthy young boy had cancer.
Jase has since been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Jase has already begun Chemotherapy. He’s doctors are taking a very aggressive approach with his treatment, Due to the aggressive nature of this Cancer. Which in turn has affected Brooke's availability to work. We are talking 3-5 days in the hospital every other week. With appointments on the off weeks. Not including the effects this will take on his little body. Since we are in the very beginning stage of his 9-month minimum treatment. So many things can change, and the next year will have many challenges for Jase & his family.
Brooke also received the news that kid’s insurance changed on Jan 1st. Brooke now has more out of pocket expenses with the treatment, hospital care and medication.
The one thing we all want is for Jase to kick cancer's butt.
I want Brooke to have everything she needs to be able to stay by her son's side & not lose everything that she has worked so hard to achieve for Her & her Children.
Please share Jase's Story. I am asking for any help possible for this sweet little family battling something so terrible. We also request prayers of healing for Jase & prayers for our whole family.
