On September 25, 2925, Jas suffered a series of strokes and was hospitalized. Over the course of two days Jas experienced seizures while in the hospital. She underwent several tests and remained in the hospital for 8 days. She is home now but has had lasting effects from the strokes, seizures, and hospitalization that have left her unable to work for the time being. Her doctors are optimistic that with new medications and the right medical team helping with her recovery she will be back to work by the winter.

Jas is grateful to be home and healing but the loss of income and increasing medical bills due to insurance issues is a constant worry.
