Kari is a creator, advocate, voice actress and comedian who has fostered a growing and thriving online community as one half of the duo behind Numbskulls. Her cheerful persona and razor-sharp wit help her bring joy and make waves, but may bely her lifelong struggle with a persistent and powerful depressive disorder. Following a series of cascading events that came to a head around 2020, this disorder became exponentially more debilitating, and continues to present a real and present challenge - and danger - to this day.

After years of tireless efforts to grapple with this illness, Kari was approved for an experimental Ketamine-assisted therapy and underwent 5 sessions of medical-grade, therapist-led treatment in late 2025. The good news? It actually helped! For the first time in many years, hope was raised that a real tool that could combat the devastating, exhausting and ever-present ideations and depression had finally been found!

The bad news?

The treatment, while necessary an extremely helpful, is still in the experimental phase, and as such, is not applicable for coverage under MSP. It must be paid for out of pocket. And it ain’t cheap.

The purpose of this fundraiser is for more than just helping to pay for ketamine therapy. It is about keeping one of the brightest and encouraging people in the Warhammer community (and, many would argue, in the whole dang world) alive and well and able to be her very best self, both now and for the future as well.
