I want to take a moment to share something very personal about what my family is going through right now.
On November 17th, my husband was diagnosed with what we were told was a glioma. At the time, we were told it was slow growing. We held onto that. We believed we had time, and we tried to move forward with hope.
But in just three months, everything changed. What we thought was a slow-growing tumor turned into an aggressive, fast-growing glioblastoma. It has been overwhelming and heartbreaking to see how quickly things progressed.
His urgent surgery is scheduled for April 1st, and that is where this fight truly begins. After surgery, he will be off work for at least three months as he goes through recovery, therapy, treatments, and many doctor appointments. This is not just a pause in our lives—it’s a long and uncertain road ahead.
But through all of this, one thing remains clear—he is strong. He is a fighter. And we are facing this together, one day at a time.
There will be hard days. There will be fear and uncertainty. But there is also love, strength, and hope—and we are holding onto that with everything we have.
During this time, we humbly ask for your prayers, your support, and your understanding. If you feel led and are able to help financially, any donation would be deeply appreciated as this journey will also bring a significant financial burden with time away from work, treatments, and ongoing care. But most of all, your prayers and encouragement mean everything to us.
We truly appreciate every message, every kind word, and every bit of support. It means more than we can express.
Right now, our focus is on getting through surgery, taking things day by day, and staying strong as a family.
Thank you for listening, and thank you for standing with us during this incredibly difficult time.
UPDATE:
He underwent surgery on April 1st, and we truly believed that was the beginning of the next step in this fight. However, our journey has taken another unexpected and difficult turn. He is now back in the hospital and has been diagnosed with meningitis. He is currently undergoing treatment with multiple strong antibiotics and has had to go through a spinal tap as doctors work to manage this serious infection.
This is not just a pause in our lives—it’s a long and uncertain road ahead, with more challenges than we ever anticipated.
But through all of this, one thing remains clear—he is strong. He is a fighter. And we are facing this together, one day at a time.
There will be hard days. There will be fear and uncertainty. But there is also love, strength, and hope—and we are holding onto that with everything we have.
