Hello friends & family,

 

I am Kelly, Jarrett's big sister. As many of you may know, Jarrett has suffered severe side effects due to his advanced Crohn's Disease. He has also been diagnosed with Diabetes and Peripheral Neuropathy. He has been in and out of the hospital with various issues and procedures this past year and has struggled to continue to work while recovering. Jarrett loves his job, and it's essential to him to be able to support himself. He is very fortunate to have an employer who has allowed him to reduce his hours to continue to work as he has navigated this process.

 

On March 4, Jarrett's doctors at Tampa General Hospital will remove his spleen, part of his pancreas, and colon sections. They will also install a feeding tube from his stomach and intestine to an outside port. Due to the seriousness of this surgery, Jarrett will be unable to work while he recovers. He has been diligently working on getting his disability claim approved and has sought every other avenue for financial assistance available to him as well.

 

I have set up this fund to help Jarrett pay his rent, utilities, medical bills & copays while he recovers. I hope to ease his financial stress so his body can rest and heal.
