Hi my name is Shauna and I am the niece of Eugene and Toi Jarrett.

I am starting this gofundme to raise money to help my aunt and uncle as they recover from this unexpected accident. Last night, July 16, 2021, the unthinkable happened when Eugene and Toi's house was destroyed in a fire. We are so thankful that they both made it out alive with minor injuries but they lost everything.

Their 45 year old home and everything in it, was completely destroyed by the fire. They made it out with the clothes on their backs and nothing more. Eugene, a Vietnam war veteran, has chronic health issues and needs a CPAP machine as well as oxygen condensers which the VA will not provide for him. They will also need to buy major appliances such as washer/dryer and fridge as their home was a total loss. We estimate that the family will require around $5,000 to replace the medical equipment and major appliances. We have decided to start this gofundme as an organized way for friends, family, and anyone else who would like to help the Jarrett family. We appreciate all the help, love, support, and prayers!
