Jaron Tomas untimely death

Jaron Thomas passed on January 23, 2017 at 36 years old. Jaron's untimely death is attributed to injuries that occurred from being brutally beat by multiple Columbus police officers . While at a family residence on January 14, Jaron who suffered from schizophrenia and hallucinations called 911 for for help. The father of three attempted to get help because he was experiencing an episode, several officers responded to the scene . He was then hospitalized with severe brain damage, head contusions, a blood clot near his sternum and at least one broken rib. The family is in need of help with the services being planned for Jaron. The family is seeking answers as to why this incident occurred to their family member.
