If you’re reading this, it’s because I’ve either already spoken with you, or my parents have shared this page with you.

As many of you know, I’m asking for your support for something really special.

Through our basketball connections, I’ve been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to the United States to learn, train, and compete in basketball.

I’ll be travelling with my current team under the Pakenham Basketball Academy, which is an incredible opportunity in itself. As part of the trip, we’ll also be taking part in educational experiences, including visits to a local high school in Phoenix and Arizona State University. These visits will allow us to see how their basketball programs operate, understand academic expectations, and learn firsthand how the college entry process works.

One of the conditions set by all the parents was that we would take responsibility for raising the funds ourselves. While this is definitely outside my comfort zone, I see this fundraising journey as an important opportunity to grow my confidence and independence.

Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would make a huge difference and is greatly appreciated. We’re also able to provide a tax invoice for those with an ABN who wish to claim a tax deduction.

Time is a big factor for us, as we’ll be travelling over Easter and need to raise the funds by the end of February.
