I have been living with a deteriorating left hip for about 10 years now due to a medication I was taking to combate the effects of my desision to stop alcohol. The medication stoped blood flow to my left hip which caused the bone to start to die. I have fought long and hard to get to this day where I could get it replaced. Now that the day has come, I am now struggling with the extra personal costs of an aftercare facility, being out of work for the healing time, and the rent and bills that I am still responsible for during this healing time.

I have been faced with many challenges in my life and even more so in this past year. After giving my life back over to the hands of the Lord and learning it is ok to ask for help when in need, I am reaching out to whomever would feel the desire to do so.

2005 I gave up drinking to get and stay healthy. The recovery was easy when it came to not picking up a drink but hard from the side effects that came from all of the years I spent drinking. A medication I was prescribed caused bone deterioration to my left hip and was too young to have anything done tofix it. So live with the pain was my only option at the time. 2016, I decided to give my health over to the hands of the Lord since nothing earthly was working. Easter, the day I chose to honor my change, a different medication caused me to have a seizure and hit a powerline pole only 15 minutes after my announcement that my life was being turned over to God's hands. I walked away without a scratch. But huge debts.
October of this year, I had another incident where I had a seizure while ironing my clothes for my next day of work.I had woken up to find I pulled the ironon top of myself and burnt approximately 15%-20% of my right thigh down to the muscle. I recovered in a burn unit over a 6 week time frame and did so with an amazing attitude.
I went through these times with a strong heart because I knew the Lord wouldn't give me more than I could handle.He also sent some amazing earthly angles to help support me through theseexperiences.
I know I'll make it through my surgery with an amazing attitude. This past year has been a financial struggle, and with all hopes this is the key to a more successful and pleasurable life, I must say I do need some help. I have used up every bit of savings and my parents have put themselves out there way past their means. Any help will help.
