Help an outstanding young man on his search for answers to yet-undiagnosed medical issues!

Hi, all! I am fundraising to help a great young family - the Smiths - pay bills and handle travel and medical expenses associated with a yet undiagnosed medical condition. Many of you know Jared Smith. He's a young husband and father of 2 struggling with medical issues, like Crohn's disease and other autoimmune issues. Two weeks ago he was suffering what they thought was a flare-up, but it wasn't. Long story short - After 10+ days in local hospitals, and failed attempts to transfer to Barnes or other larger hospitals (due to lack of beds), Jared is currently at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to see specialists and undergo numerous tests, hoping to find answers.

To make matters more frustrating for Jared and his family, he was in a car accident July 14, where he was lucky to live. (He had to be extricated unconscious from the car, and an IO drill used.) The car was totaled, but Jared, thankfully, came out blessed! Since the accident, he has not been able to work much - especially with this medical mystery complicating matters.

Jared and his wife Mikayla have a young son, Colt, and a 4 month old daughter, Raelynn. This young family could use our help with everyday bills and rent until he can get back to work, and with travel expenses associated with solving this medical mystery.
