Jared's Hit-And-Run Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, October 2nd, Todd "Jared" Kaplan was driving to Squaw Peak for his morning hike when he got into a horrific car accident.
We believe someone ran him off the road. His car rolled and flipped down an embankment and he was ejected from his car in the process. The accident was so sudden, Jared only remembers waking up in the dirt.

His injuries include:
- Broken neck, back, and ribs
- A traumatic head injury. His brain is bleeding a bit and we are praying he doesn't have brain damage. He will be at risk for seizures for a few months.
- Scrapes, cuts, and bruises all over his body.
Any donation, no matter how small, is a blessing!
Jared will be in a neck brace for at least 3 months. He will be unable to work or drive a vehicle during this time.
Luckily he has insurance to assist but it does not cover everything. As many of you know, several days in the hospital, especially Surgical ICU is expensive.
Your donation will go to helping pay the bills while he's unable to work and paying the medical bills.
Any money past the goal will go towards saving for another car. Jared’s rare and beloved blue Pontiac GTO is totaled. He is looking at this replacement GTO.
We are so thankful he is alive. It's a miracle he survived.
Thank you for your love and support,
Jared, Krystle and the entire Kaplan family
**SPECIAL NOTE**
