The University of Sioux Falls Football Program was hit with tragedy in the early morning hours of April 1st, 2018, when two players, Courtney Beane and Jared Brito, suffered through a car accident that took Courtney’s life and left Jared with serious injury.

Jared joined the Coo in the summer of 2017 after a junior college career at Citrus College in Southern California. Originally a native of Covina, CA, Jared has excelled both on and off the field, where the Biology major achieved high marks so far at USF. Jared’s contributions to the Coo extend far beyond the field, and he has developed into a respected leader among his peers.
Jared’s strength during this challenging ordeal has been remarkable, but he is still in the beginning stages of a long recovery. Help the USF Football Program ensure that Jared and his family are provided for appropriately.
