Update:Thank you all for your generous donations. Jared and Evelin continue to heal, but they have experienced some complications.
An MRI on Jared's hand shows that he has a displaced bone and torn ligaments, which requires surgery which will prevent him from working for 3 to 6 months and Evelin has required multiple X-rays to ensure she is healing correctly.
During one of those X-rays it was recently discovered that the pain and constant discomfort in her knee was due to a wire that was installed incorrectly, and now needs to be removed. This surgery will take place on Tuesday, November 26th and costs $1,500 with hospital transfers and the surgery.
Due to these complications they are in need of additional funds to cover the continuous medical expenses. Although Jared has been pursuing compensation from the driver and the truck company with a lawyer, there has been corruption in his case and has so far not received any compensation to help with the expenses and it is not looking hopeful. Please continue to pray for complete healing for Jared and Evelin, and for a just outcome to the extended investigation. Thank you!

Requesting support for Jared, Evelin and her sweet 11-year-old son, Diego, who were crushed when a truck swerved into Jared's car in Ensenada, Mexico, resulting in the death of the truck passenger and serious injuries. Evelin was trapped in the car and many of the bones on the right side of her body were crushed. Evelin had major surgery, but now urgently requesting funds for MRI, and surgery on her crushed knee. Mexican hospitals are less expensive than in some countries, but Jared and Evelin don't have the necessary short-term funds, and the truck driver apparently does not have insurance. We would also appreciate your prayers! Evelin and her son were just preparing to attend a YWAM Discipleship Training School in Tijuana when this terrible accident happened. Pray that God will give them wisdom and peace.
