Jared Taber and Family

Hi, my name is Raquelle and I'm fundraising for my friend Jared, who was injured in his home on December 14th. He was cooking and his pan caught on fire. While trying to put it out, he fell and was engulfed in the flames. He was severely burned over multiple parts of his body and will be hospitalized for multiple surgeries over the next few weeks. Jared's home that he shares with his girlfriend and their four pets suffered damages throughout the kitchen and flooring as a result of the fire as well. Jared is a part of the Food and Beverage industry here in Charleston, where he works downtown as a bartender at Henry's on Market. Jared will be out of work for the foreseeable future due to the burns on his hands and arms. This is going to be a long, slow and painful recovery for Jared and his family. Jared is a very kind, caring and supportive individual who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He has a very positive personality and is a bright light in the people's lives around him. To add to the stress of the situation, Jared is experiencing a lapse in insurance coverage. His long-time girlfriend Brooke is staying with him in the hospital while her mom is watching their two dogs and two cats. We're asking for help and support from our community for bills, medical bills, cat and dog supplies and anything else that would be of help to Jared and his family. Unfortunately, Jared and Brooke will be stuck in the hospital over the holidays. All donations during this time will be greatly appreciated.
