Jared is my oldest Grandson who is in very serious condition and in need of your help. He is currently admitted to the University of Utah Hospital with pleural effusion (lung fluid) and has a drain tube. He under went many thoracentisis procedures to drain the fluid and a multitude of tests at Portneuf Hospital prior to being admitted to the University of Utah. He had a lung biopsy done last week where there was an area of concern and a Pleurodesis procedure. He was diagnosed with EF with a 45% Ejection Factor which measures the percentage of blood pumped from the left ventricle with each contraction. 45% is considered a low rating and can be an indication of heart failure or cardiomyopathy. He is currently under the care of a leading Cardiologist and other Specialists to create a treatment plan who have not yet been able to determined the cause of his serious illness.
Through all of this Jared has remained strong while enduring severe pain. He has an amazing spirit and remains positive. Jared graduated from Highland High School with an 3.5 grade point and was an avid Soccer player all 4 years of school. He is such a good person and highly thought of and loved by his family and so many in the community. He has a large supportive family who are all so proud of him and many siblings that count on him. Jared has always been in very good health until this past year where he fell ill to Covid twice and RSV and his health declined. He was attending college at ISU. I am reaching out to you on behalf of my Grandson. He would be so grateful for any amount you’d be able to help him with. He will have a long recovery at home and expenses which your support will help him greatly until he is able to go back to work and school.
I want to say how much your support of my Grandson means to me and want to thank you
for your prayers and support.
