Jared MacDonald was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma mid-October of 2020. The year, we all thought, could not get much worse, dropped this bomb on Jared and his beautiful wife Melissa, and their 6-year-old daughter Tessa. Jared, 38 years old, had been experiencing some symptoms over the past year, but brushed them off as “getting older”. After an emergency room visit, the doctors had more time to see what was really going on with Jared, and they determined Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was the culprit. Now what? Well, he has undergone the tests, the chemotherapy port is in place, a PET scan has been performed, and chemo started on November 4th with a series of sessions to follow for the next six months. His ability to work as a skilled finish carpenter has been diminished and Melissa is doing her best to hold down the financial fort. Your thoughts and prayers are encouraged and welcome.
