Jared was born to Terri and Lenny Devine December 3rd, 1993, a middle child with an older brother Joe and a younger sister Taylre. He grew up in a small farm town in southern Illinois. Jared participated in track and soccer, and his exceptional athleticism eventually carried him to play soccer at Upper Iowa University where he met his future wife, Caitlyn.  When Jared married Caitlyn, he immediately fit into Caitlyn's side of the family, everyone instantly loved him and you would often see him hanging around Caitlyn's brothers, Brendan and Riley. Jared was a very quiet, loving, caring person who often put others first before himself. Last week Jared went out for a run and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital in Cedar Falls, then transferred to Iowa City. Doctors did everything they could to save him, unfortunately, Jared passed away Friday, May 13th. Jared's final act of selflessness was donating his organs to those in need. As many of you know, insurance does not cover all the hospital costs, so please donate, any amount will be appreciated so that we can obtain the goal of $25,000.
