Jarad Higgins at 28 Passed away 19th October 2018 - Jarad was a young man that had an enormous impact on so very many, making the world a better place with his ability to connect and relate to many despite his own struggles with mental health and health issues.He was passionate in all that he did especially in his connections to family, friends and community that passion was both infectious and treasured.
This page has been created in celebration of Jarad's life to initially assist with funeral arrangements with subsequent funds to go to TIM (The Institute of Many)* and QPP (Queensland Positive People)** both of which Jarad was passionate about and grateful for their support.

*The Institute of Many (TIM) is a grassroots movement for People Living with HIV. TIM offers peer support online and in person at events around the country, as well as advocacy, grassroots campaigns, and a place where all People Living with HIV can lean on the best resource we have: each other.
**Queensland Positive People (QPP) is the peak peer-based, not-for-profit organisation that primarily offers support to the diverse array of people living with HIV (PLHIV) across this state. We are funded by Queensland Health to provide a range of services including HIV rapid testing; peer navigation, peer support & self-help activities; referrals; advocacy against stigma and discrimination; and access to treatments & health promotion information for PLHIV, and those affected by HIV, throughout Queensland.
This page has been set up by his Family in the hope we can honour Jarad's life and continue to support organisations that he was passionate about with the hope that fundraising will continue past the initial funeral expenses of $8000 (approx.).
