How does one summarize THE La Saveona Hunt? I could go on for hours about Jaquan's impact on Seattle, the Pacific Northwest, and the drag and volleyball worlds at large. But in short, whether you knew him as Jaquan, La Saveona, or LaLa, to know him was to love him.

Jaquan was a person of many talents: a gifted dancer, track athlete, basketball player, choreographer, drag queen, volleyball player, but most of all, an outstanding and passionate person. Likewise, LaLa will be remembered for her boisterous laugh, beaming smile, hunger for life, and being the center and life of every party.

Although his light shone much too short, it's undeniable that Jaquan's light was a bright beacon within the LGBTQIA+ community. He touched thousands of lives, and his legacy will be felt for generations to come.
