Jaquan Medical and transportation expenses

On December 4th 2016, my entire family’s life changed. My nephew Jaquan was shot and paralyzed from the waist down. He was walking in front of his own home, where he heard men yelling and shouting.When he glanced to see where the noise was coming from, the men directed their energy to Jaquan, who then resumed to walking home and staying to himself. After being ignored by Jaquan this man decided to start shooting at him, striking him in the back and causing him to lose the ability to walk. Due to an act of carelessness, my nephews future has been jeopardized. Thankfully the shooter has been sentenced and put away. Here's the link to that story. 



Jaquan had a promising future of going to college and going to NBA, now he has a long road to recovery. Unfortunately, Jaquan’s bullet wound has not healed as the doctors anticipated. We are experiencing very expensive medical issues along with transportation to and from the hospital. We are pleading for any financial assistance to help Jaquan during this difficult time.
