January’s Post-Accident Recovery Fund
Donation protected
In February of 2023, January’s life was instantly changed when she was rear-ended by a distracted driver who hit her at speeds of 45 MPH while she was stopped at a light.
She is the mother of three with a partner of 8 years, and very recently became a grandmother. Following the accident, January experienced a concussion, neck and shoulder injuries, short-term memory loss, verbal and physical impairments and will most likely need total disc replacement surgery in her cervical spine. Recently, she was told by her medical team that she will have to cut back her work hours to twelve hours a week due to brain regression and she’s already used up her 12 weeks of FMLA to support her family.
She’s managed to stay on top of rent and other priorities, but she could use some help so she can focus on healing and recovering from this tragic accident. Any and all help is appreciated, and thank you for sharing this if you’re able.
