January CircuitRiders DTS

Hi everyone! If you don't know me already, my name is George and I'm 20 years old. I live in South East England with my family while currently studying a 4-year Church Leadership and Theology Degree at Regents Theological College. I love Jesus wholeheartedly and am always creating/seeking opportunities to glorify His name and bring people into the family of Christ. I do a lot of social media ministry where I post videos about my faith, lifestyle and any fun activities I get up to and I'm hoping one day it will become a full-time job or a side hustle I can run alongside the calling God has placed on my life.

Now that you know about me a bit better I'd like use this opportunity to share what God has placed on my heart in this chapter of my life.

First of all, to give necessary context, CircuitRiders is a mission and training movement that came out of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) 12 years ago. The CircuitRiders' name was inspired from the Circuit Rider movement which originated in the early 18th century where a passionate Methodist called 'John Wesley' began to preach about Jesus to people across England who were not served by a set church. Many others followed the example of Wesley in bringing the Good News to those outside church congregations so Jesus' name would carry such a significance that people would continue to surrender their life to him.

Fast forward to the 21st Century and the modern-day CircuitRiders movement begun. Its initial roots were founded through someone who prophesied a word about a specific movement that would spark people to evangelise and be mobilised to share Jesus across the world. Brian and Christy Brennt took upon this word and God breathed life into their vision and heart to see people come to know Jesus. Now the movement is worldwide with thousands of young people learning about the Good News of Jesus and experiencing his very Spirit for the first time. The team at CircuitRiders are hungry to see the lost become saved and for the Gospel to impact the next generation of believers to live as radical servants for the Kingdom. This message is to be proclaimed in schools, hospitals, workplaces and any community that a young person is placed in enabled through the teaching and equipping of the CircuitRiders school.

I've had the privilege to attend two CarryTheLove* UK national gatherings at the beginning of 2023 and participated in both CircuitRiders training school hosted at the YWAM Harpenden base in North London and volunteer as staff on one of the many CarryTheLove pre-tours across the UK.

*CarryTheLove is a CircuitRiders' track which specifically takes the Gospel to universities and campuses in the form of hosted events.

I've witnessed salvations, healings, miracles, testimonies and so much more in the space of 9 months and I am beyond passionate to continue walking alongside the vision and heart of CircuitRiders movement for Gen z, and for the many generations of young people to follow, to experience the real and authentic personhood of Jesus who is alive and breathing today! This is the biggest and only one of many reasons I believe God is directing me to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with CircuitRiders so I can continue walking in His calling on my life and help lead a generation to Jesus.

The DTS is split into two parts. (1) There is 10 weeks of training and equipping which takes place at the CircuitRiders base in Huntington Beach, California. Every DTS member is gathered here to dive deeper into God's Word, connect with each during the lecture phase and prepare for evangelistic outreach that is held elsewhere. (2) The outreach is done over a 3 month period where there will be teams created and specific leaders assigned to each. The vision is to evangelise in communities across the world with the soul purpose of the team reaching people with the transformative power of the Gospel message. I am very passionate about God and His Word and this is an exciting opportunity to embark on and dive fully in with hope people will be set free, healed, and ultimately saved by the grace of God.

Without a doubt, this mission would not be possible without your support and I pray with expectation that you can help make a difference by partnering with me in this next chapter of my life. Everything you donate will go directly towards: transport, food, tuition and housing fees, and any extra costs needed. Below I have written out the breakdown of the costs which you can look at to understand how big of a task this is, but I truly believe that God has placed on my heart to join CircuitRiders even with little time to fundraise! Please take a look at the costs below:
