Jansen Family Support
This past Father’s Day weekend, Gary was in a horrible motorcycle accident and had to be life-flighted to a Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Seattle, WA. He has sustained many serious injuries and remains ventilated and in a non-induced coma. They are currently monitoring Gary’s brain which is bleeding and swelling. He has broken facial bones, a broken jaw, broken ribs, broken hip, and chest tubes on both sides. He is currently in the neuro ICU where the neurologists say he will be facing, at a bare minimum, a year of recovery. Gary is the sole provider for his family. His wife and three young children (ages 2, 11, and 12) are going through an unimaginable amount of stress, worry, and sadness right now. His children spent Father’s Day in a waiting room not knowing what to expect. They are unsure of what lies ahead and are facing a very long, hard, and unsteady path. Medical expenses have already begun to mount. Any help and support for this family is very much appreciated. Updates will be posted as we receive them. Thank you.
