In Loving Memory of János Herits

On the early morning of October 31st, János Herits passed away suddenly while working and driving his truck (#12) — doing what he had always done with pride and dedication. His loss has left a deep emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him, especially his wife and children.

János was a man who lived for his family. He was a devoted husband of 24 years to Ildiko, a loving father to Szandi and Anthony, and a caring son to his mother and stepfather, as well as his Canadian Dad. He also leaves behind cherished friends in Canada and Hungary, all of whom will remember his kindness, humour, and genuine heart.

He truly appreciated life — always finding joy in simple moments and giving his all to those around him. János was proud of the life he built with his wife and children, and his love for them shone through in everything he did.

This fundraiser is to help his wife Ildiko, and children Szandi and Anthony through this difficult time — to ease the burden of funeral expenses and support them as they face the difficult days ahead.
